Hunt and fish the land of kings and be treated like a king as well. Hunt the majestic Scottish Highland red stag on 35,000 acres of open range misty mountain heather. Land brown trout from sparkling, pure streams and lochs. You can also test your golf skills on one of many courses in this area as an extra. When the day is done, you'll relax in a classic Scottish hunting estate, warmed by a log fire and perhaps a wee dram of single-malt, while you await the sumptuous creations of a superb Scottish chef.

This is a chance for the hunter to sample a unique way of hunting for the free ranging Red Hill Stag. As this is a traditional hunt the method has changed very little in many years. A typical day the hunter, with his guide, would glass the hills and valleys looking for a good trophy, typically 8-points or more. Once the stag has been spotted the stalk would begin trying to close the distance to approximately 100-150 yards.

And while you can enjoy all this Scottish hospitality and recreation on your own, it would be a shame not to bring your favorite lassie. The accommodations are full of old world elegance and the romance of the Highlands is everywhere.

We have a car and driver at the disposal of the non-shooting guest. Their day would start at about 8.30 a.m. with breakfast. When the hunters have left for the day, which would be about 9.30 a.m. the non-hunters with their driver, would start hunting amongst Scotland's finest woolen and cashmere mills. The tour may include several historic castles, like the Fort William, Pitlochry, Blair Atholl castle, the amazing Cawdor Castle, Loch Ness, and the magic and myths of the rugged, spectacular Scottish countryside to see. The touring side of your day would finish at about 4.30 p.m. when you return to the hunting lodge to be greeted by a warm welcoming fire.

The day would be rounded off with cocktails at around 7 p.m., then dinner, with coffee following in the lounge by the log fire, and thinking about the next day's adventures.

You owe this to yourself and your mate to experience the grandeur of Scotland.
