This New Mexico mule deer hunt takes place in the northeast corner of the state on over 100,000 private acres. The various properties consist of canyons, hay fields, and river bottom that are home to a healthy population of mule deer. These hunts are extremely limited with only six trophy deer hunts conducted each season, two hunters at a time. The first hunt is a late September muzzleloader hunt followed by a mid November rifle hunt. Finally, a mid-December rut hunt is offered. Any of these hunts can produce 170"-180" class bucks. Recently, a 233" buck was harvested on this hunt, the result of careful game management practices. This is an ideal hunt for a couple of friends, parent and child, or husband and wife, since only two hunters are taken at a time. Accommodations consist of a comfortable seven bedroom lodge with satellite television and delicious meals. Hurry, this hunt won't last long.
